My son was in NICU for 2 mos. My OB who would have normally done it wasn't comfortable doing it since he was then several weeks old so we waited for the next time he was in surgery for something else and a urologist took care of it, might as well make good use of anesthesia. If you have any more surgeries on the horizon I would wait and have it done then. Good luck!
