My son is 9 months old and is still fed formula thru his g-tube. We were given the ok around 7 months to start solids as well. I would always just givehim a small amount of food (my son never liked the cereal so I just went to fruits) and then his normal tube feeding. Now that he eats 3 meals a day I just wait about an hour after he has had food and then feed him his normal amount of tube feeding. Does that help at all?

: My daughter is 7 months old and was given the
: green light to start spoon feeding. I was
: told to let her push the food from the
: spoon. My biggest concern is Kaitlyn is
: still on a feeding pump. Do I feed her the
: cereal at new normal feeding times? Once she
: starts to take more cereal how do I know
: that she is not getting too much though her
: pump? If anyone has any suggestions please
: let me know also please share your
