My daughter is having jaw distraction tomorrow. She is 14 months old with a trach. She had her palate repaired 2 weeks ago, but had severe complications with a swollen tongue. Thus, the docs decided to do jaw distraction to make more room for her tongue and hopefully get rid of the trach this summer. Any suggestions for surviving this surgery would be much appreciated. Thanks!
