Hi there. A bronch is a fairly quick procedure. In your daughter's case, they will be looking to see how her tongue affects her airway, especially when she is "asleep". They'll also be looking at her anatomy in that area, making sure sure all is as it should be, looking for any other blockages (such as stenosis), and making sure her lower airway is good as well. Hopefully you will get only good news. Keep us updated.

: My daughter is having a Bronchoscopy tomorrow
: morning. The Dr told us that would give us
: more answers. I am very concerned that she
: will need a Tracheotomy. She goes not like
: having a dirty diaper and will cry to let
: everyone know. When she cries and works
: herself her tongue rolls back and blocks her
: airway.

: Anyone know what we should expect from the
: bronchoscopy?
