Feeding rice cereal with TLA

My five month old daughter has a tongue lip adhesion. We are starting pablum and it is either dribbling down her chin or coming out her nose. Anyone have any advice? We are starting with a very thin consistancy. She likes it but I don't think she's getting any down!
