Hi Rachael - I just posed the question to our GI nurse practitioner as we are going away on vacation. She said the pool is fine as it is like the bathtub. As for the beach, she said to keep it clean as possible and keep the sand out a one piece suit is a good idea. So I got my son a one piece that zips up the front - easier to unzip for tube feedings! We go this weekend so I will find out how it works! Susie
