Hey Katie...i tried twice last night at work to post a response but couldn't get it to work. I took the measurements that you gave and plotted your baby on the growth chart. His head measured in the 95% when he was 3 months and 7 months. Although he made a "jump" in his head growth, he is continuing on his same growth curve. What was his head circ. at birth? Maybe he just has a big head. Both of my daughters have/had head circ. above the 95% and they are fine. My nephew was the same way. He ended up having a scan to check for extra fluid (hydrocephalus) He did end up having extra fluid but they said it was benign. He was hitting all the appropriate milestones for his age and was not symptomatic. He had follow up scans and it resolved on its own.Is your son meeting his milestones? It is good that they are scanning his head to rule out anything. I know that the wait can be horrible.
