My daughter is 10 months and was very delayed for the longest time (low tone and very little head control)...now all of a sudden for the last 2 months she has just taken off. She is rolling over, holding her head up really well, sitting by herself quite well, lifting her head up, standing when we hold her hands etc. Her therapist are really excited and said that she not very far behind anymore. But when she was six and seven months of age, she was still extremely far behind. Hang in there and remember each child has their own timetable.

: My son is 6 1/2 mos (17 lbs) hes a big boy. He
: was considered hypotonic in the nicu, but
: they didnt find anything neurologically
: wrong. I think he's still at 50% delay but
: he has been in physical therapy since he was
: 4 months. He does not sit on his own, hates
: tummy, and favors his right side. He hadnt
: hit any milestones til last wed when he
: rolled from tummy to back on his right
: side and only bc he hates tummy.....but we
: were still thrilled!
: So anyway just saying i know where you're
: coming from and yes we are experiencing a
: bit of delay too. i say she still has time
: for those milestones but def recommend pt if
: you havent done so already...
