My daughter who is seven months has the same thing, We noticed it at birth but I thought that just the way it is with PRS I didn't think much of it, I can tell that as her jaw comes forward, on its own, her tounge in decending down, but because of the extra tissue it has nowhere to go. It seems like she has alot of stuff in her month, no wonder she cant swallow.

My PED and docs had not much to say about it...
Sorry,not much help. But is seems to be a problem, in my eyes for my daughter.
