PRS and congenital cataract

Hello!

My husband, 31 years old, has the PRS and congenital cataract. Because of extremly bad eyesight he'll already have to have the surgery. I must admit that we're scared because of many possible complications.

Does anyone know someone, who had the surgery so young and were there any complications?

I have to apologize for my not-good English. Unfortunately I'm not a native speaker, I come from small European country.
