Feeding question

Hi,
I have a 6 month old Pierre Robin baby boy. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to feed him solids. I have been putting it off and I am scared to feed him.
Also, Will his chin really grow? I haven't seen anything yet. When will I see some change?
I just found this web site and have felt so alone until today....
