hiya,im just writing to say it amazes me to read about all that is done in america 4 babies born with prs. we live in new zealand and when my son was born 4yrs ago al that he had done was had a 3way tube 4breathing and a feeding tube 4 3months. we nursed him in prone position 4 6mths,until his jaw grew out enough. then he had his palete repaired at 10mths, we have never looked back his jaw has completly grown back naturally. my heart goes out 2 you and your family 4 all you have and are going through. it seems so unnessary 2 have a trach 4 so long i would seek a second or third opinion
