Palate repair - after the hospital

My son Charlie is scheduled to have his palate repaired on December 3. He will be also getting ear tubes and his g-tube replaced. From past posts, I have a pretty good idea of what to expect while he is in the hospital. What have people's experiences been after coming home? Charlie is 100% tube fed so I don't expect any feeding issues. How long will he be out of sorts? Any advice or thoughts welcome! Thanks, Susie
