Sorry for your loss. My daughter and son both have PRS and it is not genetic and there was no other genetic syndrome associated with it. The only way to tell for sure is to have an in utero MRI done so that you can see the palate. A high resolution ultra sound might work if the jaw is extremely receeded, but a mild recession it will not detect.
