I was born with a sub-mucas cleft but no PRS (not sure if PRS was a big concern in 1974). My son was born March 2007 with PRS and a cleft pallete. Which totally suprrised up, we were expecting worse case to be a cleft pallete not PRS. Anyway, now knowing what PRS is you can deffiently tell on my 24 week ultra sound that his chin was small. I'm impressed that no one caught it when I told them I had a cleft pallete. I just wonder if I would have had a better OB I would have had a little warning, instead of having my son being whisked away to the NICU before I could even hold him for the first time.
