Our newborn son who has PRS (isolated) had a lip tongue adhesion done about 3 weeks ago. He is very adversive to having anything in his mouth. We were discharged from the NICU yesterday with a NG tube. I was wondering if anyone had any techniques on how to start bottle feeding him. Our feeding specialist recommended that we slowly introduce things in his mouth. I am able to place the tip of my finger in his mouth while he is sleeping... anything more and he'll wake up screaming (but is easily consoled). It is really frustrating!!! Any advice from people who have been here would be extremely appreciated. Thank you!!
