Hi Melissa
My son is 13 months now and has a trachy. He started pulling at it around 8 months. I was desperate to find a way to make him stop as well. I have found that if I keep 2 bibs on him, one tucked into his shirt so he can't reach under it to pull at it, and one over his shirt to catch the drool. It requires a bit more work for suctioning but at least he can't get to the trachy. Good luck.

: to freak..anyway..how can I get him to
: stop..or is there something going on with
: the trach that is allowing him to yank it
: out?? Can he cause any damage by pulling it
: out? I know these are questions to ask the
