Hello everyone,
My baby daughter was born with PRS. She is now 6 months 2weeks old.
Since her birth she was hospitalized till she was almost 6 months old.
Her lenghtly hosiptalization was because her breathing was unstable and frequent vomitting and distress led to poor weight gain.
She is being fed by a tube thro her mouth since birth
Because of her condition and her hospitalization she was not fed orally.
Now that she is at home and we try to feed her orally, by spoon, Habberman Nipple, syringe, she refuses even to open her mouth
Doctors have even placed an obturator to help her in feeding. Despite all this, she continues to refuse. This has become our single biggest worry right now.
So we kindly request you to advise us as to the best method of making her learn feedinng on her own.
