Hey, y'all. I found a website about care of tracheostomies that I wish I had known about 6 months ago. It would have helped me reconcile different instructions I was given by doctors and caregivers about how to care for my son. I thought you might find it useful. Now, I'm not a doctor, so I can't tell you that the site is accurate or that you should do what it says, but I will say that I found it informative and helpful. For those of you facing decannulation in the next year, you might want to read about the different decannulation methods.
