Jaw growth

How many people have experienced the lower jaw growing quickly and "catching up" with the rest of the face? I have 2 kids with PRS but my daughter had a mandibular distraction so I never got to see how the jaw grew on its own. My son is 4 months old and his jaw still looks very receeded. Has anyone out there had their child's jaw look much better by the age of 2? Thanks. -Rob
