Just got home from a wonderful concert at Town Hall called "The Broadway Musicals of 1943" which
featured our own Keely (Sally Mayes) along with Heather MacRae and Jason Graae.
It was a fun filled evening packed with some wonderful songs from musicals like "Oklahoma","Carmen Jones","Something for the Boys" to name a few.
Sally did quite a few numbers. I loved her version of "Something for the Boys" on the piano (as she said every Diva has to sit on top of the piano at least once during a show)as well as her very comic performance of "I Can't Say No" and "Poor Jud is Dead" with Heather .
Sally also wore some great outfits throughout
the night. She had one great bell-bottom pants outfit which was very "Pete n Keelyish".
It was a fun evening and all the performers did a
"SWELL" job.
