One day, a few years ago, a friend of mine, David Armstrong, said he had dinner with a friend of his named Mark Waldrop. David told him my idea of the show and Mark said their names should be Pete and Keely because Ps and Ks are funny. There was no connection with Keely Smith. But I must say, I do love the name now!
