I am contacting you to tell you that I applauded you for standing up against cruely to animals in Canada! I retired about a year ago and have given thought to supporting this cause but (ashamed to admit)just didn't get around to doing it. But the case in Minto has me very upset and angry. Those poor little dogs...with a hammer, it just breaks my heart. So, if you want to someone to assist you in this battle then I am up for doing it! I worked in government for nearly 30 years and have experienced in bringing groups to together to establish goals and map out how best to achieve them. I love to lead projects and have been noted for achieving results. All of this to say, I would be pleased to help organize a rally, mail list, etc. across Canada. Unfortunately, in a sense, I am out of Canada until mid April but that won't stop me. I will use Facebook to rally my friends who believe that cruelty to animals is intolerable and I would be pleased to talk with you.

I researched your name today online and found two Qwen Young's in Oromocto and I left similar messages at both. I think I may have reached your number (listed under James). I got your email address through the SPCA in Oromocto. In Canada, I live in Meductic, which is just outside of Woodstock.
Let's get together and put an end to this incredible situation. The animals deserve so much better than we have legislated ( or not legislated) in Canada!
