One day I went with my mom to get 2 cats for my brother to give to a friend. He wanted 2 cats that were girls. We looked at a litter of kittens and picked out two cats that the lady said were females. When we took them to the vets for a check up the next day he told us that one of the kittens was a boy. We couldn't take him back because I fell in love with him so we kept him and went back and got another girl kitten. That boy cat was my Tigger. He was orange with a white spot on his belly. He was my best friend and I had a special song that I would sing to him and he would come to me from where ever he was in the house. He loved to sleep on my bed with me when ever I was sick. A few months ago Tigger had to have surgery for bladder stones. He was fine for a few weeks and then the stitches opened and he had another surgery to close them. I took care of him like a baby every day. A couple of months he started losing weight and started peeing everywhere. We took him to the vet and he said that Tigger was in kidney failure and was anemic and dehydrated and nothing could be done to fix that. I told my mom that we should let him cross the Rainbow Bridge and not suffer anymore. Tigger was almost 13 years old. I miss him every day. That night I saw him in my dreams and he was young and happy again and I knew I had done the right thing. I will never forget my special baby boy.
