Two Parker 41 Debutante pens in coral pink and turquoise. The 41 Debutante was only made for the three years, 1956 – 58, aimed at a younger generation with bright colours and striking white and gold enamel fishscale caps. It used components from the successful Parker 21 de luxe, including the very reliable aerometric filler from the 51 Special and 21 and the Octanium nibs. The same size as a 21 deluxe, just very slightly shorter and slimmer than the Parker 51, the Debutante was priced between the 21 and 51 at $8.75.
Both pens have fine nibs. The pli-glass sacs in very good condition with the imprint on the pressure bar: ”PARKER PEN COMPANY U.S.A.” and the instruction: “TO FILL PRESS RIBBED BAR FOUR TIMES”. The enamel fishscale caps are in excellent condition, with just a mark in the enamel under the clips and a pinprick in the enamel. The gold fill is even more striking than in the photos.
