The Parker Sonnet Laque Moonbeam was one of four lacquer pens in the original Sonnet launch in 1993, made in France and made for just four years, withdrawn in 1997. This pen has the cap imprint “PARKER SONNET FRANCE and the date code “IIL” for 2Q’93.The Sonnet was designed by Hollington Associates in London as the high end range to replace the Parker 75 and Premier.
This pen has the 18k Sonnet gold nib, a smooth broad point and with the converter.
It has been used, but is in excellent condition, has been thoroughly cleaned and comes with the Sonnet box.
The lovely moonbeam laque is a soft pearl white and black lacquer and is, I think, unique to the Sonnet and one of my personal favorites.
