The Visconti Ponte Vecchio Limited Edition set of three fountain pens in three different celluloids was issued in 1995 to celebrate the 650th anniversary of the famous bridge in Florence, Italy. The pens were issued in three different celluloids: Pompeii Blue, Silver Granite, and Adriatic Stone. The band and clip are engraved to honor Benevuto Cellini, the Florentine goldsmith whose statue stands at the center of the bridge.
Each pen is engraved with the matching number 076/1345 and is equipped with a Visconti 18k gold Broad nib. Pens are cartridge/converter filled and converters are included. Each pen measures approximately 5 1/4 inches long capped, 5 inches long uncapped, and 6 1/2 inches long posted.
This beautiful set has survived its more than 1/4 century of life in excellent condition and has obviously been lightly used.
The set is housed in the original wood box which has some minor water stains on the cover, although the inside is pristine. The original parchment scroll is included, which contains the Certificate of Origin, Warranty, and Instructions. Even the original Bill of Sale from 1996 in Munich Germany is present, along with a full page full color advertisement of the set from Pen World magazine.
