The Endless Summer was the seminal surfing movie made by the film maker Bruce Brown and first shown in 1964. The title referred to the ideal of following summer and surf around the world, an endless summer. Acme Studio commemorated the film 45 years later in 2008 with this limited edition pen, an edition of 1964 pens. This pen is number 0193/1964. The pen has the famous graphic from the opening titles of the film on the barrel and a surf board shaped clip.

The last pens of the edition were made and sold in 2014, since when the price in the collector market has increased considerably.
There is currently one new set listed on eBay at $525 (£390).
The pen is made of brass with the graphic design hand applied and sealed with lacquer. It comes in a black wood presentation case. It is a rollerball like most of Acme’s pens but a fountain pen converter kit is available from Acme Studio and Acme retailers, with a German made medium steel nib and converter. I will add the fountain pen kit with the pen for an additional £20 ($24, €22).
Condition: mint, never used, complete with the original presentation case and card sleeve.
