A fine example of an early Waterman’s self-filler, the 412 sleeve filler c1907, with sterling silver filigree overlay and nickel plated pressure bar. The #2 nib New York nib is an expressive fine-medium point with nice flex.
The overlay is marked “Waterman’s Ideal Fountain Pen” and “Sterling”.
Closed the pen is 14cm and when the cap is posted, fully 17.2cm.
A beautiful early, fully working self-filling pen with a lovely expressive nib.
Condition: excellent; the sleeve-filling mecahism works perfectly and the nib is smooth and expressive. The overlay is in fine condition.
