For sale is a Pilot Elabo/Falcon in brown metal with a 14k SM nib. This is a newer production Pilot Falcon with a metal barrel and a nice translucent brown lacquer finish. The nib is a smooth, soft 14k soft medium (SM) that writes a fairly true medium. It's a very nice writer, gives great feedback and some great springiness to the nib. The pen itself is a great size and has nice heft, and is very comfortable for me to handle. It's a little longer then the resin Falcons. This pen has been inked but not carried and appears as new. Comes complete with box, papers, and the good CON-70 converter. These retail for $300. I'd like $150 for this one.
$150 price includes insured USPS Priority Mail within the US. I'll throw in a box of Pilot ink cartridges too. NOW $135
Next up is a Pilot Vortex fountain pen. This is a super funky fountain pen Pilot made for a bit, though I don't believe they are still in production. This is a cool design, sort of a fun modern take on the classic Pilot long cap design. The pen is bright green and silver plastic, with a clear cap and green trim on the cap and barrel ends and clip. Actually a fairly substantial pen, screw on cap which posts with a nice snap. Inked once, but looks like a new pen. Stainless medium nib is smooth but firm. Takes cartridges and a CON-40 converter will fit. No box. I'll include a box of cartridges and a CON-40. I've seen these for sale for some truly ridiculous prices. Not sure what the draw is- these are discontinued but are they collectible? I'm going to ask $30 for this one.
