1. Waterman 552 (full sized pen) with solid 9k gold overlay that is fully hallmarked. I believe this is a UK production pen, so it does not have the base marking that would be expected on a USA made pen.
Overlay is quite clean and excellent quality. Attractive body engraving reads "HIS". Some oxidation to the ebonite. Lever is a little tight, but functional. Needs a new sac.
2. Waterman 554 Fountain Pen with Solid 14k Gold Hand Engraved Vine overlay. There are a couple of issues with this pen, as pictured. The crown has a slight gap and the top has minor dents in it and the clip ball has a significant dent in it. Cap and body overlay, clip, and lever box are all marked 14k. Nice Waterman #4 size nib. Needs a new sac.
The 14k Solid Gold overlay has a pinkish hue to it, but I can't say for certain that this is a Rose Gold version.
3. Extremely rare large size Waterman 0555 overlay fountain pen. Ebonite is still very dark, imprints are crisp.
Engraving is beautifully done. Reads "Al Cap / Dr S Mattera / Per Ricordo / F. Meloni". Original #5 nib is quite flexible. There is an imprint in the crown that reads "14k" which is almost certainly not original and is not correct. This overlay is gold filled, not solid gold.
