Greetings from DocNib's PenEmporium! Here's a neat Sterling Silver "Magic" Pencil, probably American made & hallmarked E.B 925. What's neat about this one is that it telescopes in 2-positions, so it starts out small to easily fit in a vest pocket (Victorian era) and extends out to fit into small, medium & large hands. SPECS:
Sterling Silver w/ring-top & hallmarked: E.B 925 (probably American made), 2-1/2" closed...4-3/4" first telescoped section...5-3/4" fully extended, twist nose-piece w/approx. 1.5mm lead, two small "snakeskin" patterned areas on nozzle, minor wear on smooth barrel sections but does have pin-point marks on flared collar area (fairly normal wear, only problem with this pencil is that last section pulls out of middle barrel (nose telescope mechanism works, but needs some kind of metal "stop" at top of 2nd section), good condition...
