i've been on a japanese pen shopping spree the last several weeks. i bought this pen on impulse and i've now woken up to the fact that i don't need another one (i have a similar pen in EF). so here it is now for trades:
it's a Sailor Long Short Pocket fountain pen, made in the '70ies. it has an 18K White Gold nib in Japanese Fine size (that's an EF to western counterparts) and a stainless steel barrel and cap. the section is plastic, iinm, and is very comfortable to hold. the pen was bought as NOS and i have never used it.
i'm more of a user (who likes choices) than a collector so this won't be used at all, as i already have this nib size in my first long short (black plastic with silver trims). i also have another sailor flighter long short in japanese EF, and i figured i can just swap the sections in case i want a japanese Fine in a flighter body. the nibs are smooth for their sizes so i'll bet this pen won't be different at all.
i'm interested in a black sailor sapporo or 1911M in japanese medium, black pelikan m215 in western fine, or a lamy 2000 in western EF. i've decided to stick to acquiring these grail pens so i might not entertain other trade offers. but...
you can just buy it outright for $100 shipped worldwide (so i can buy me those grail pens)! please use email for communication. thanks!
