FS, Round 3 -- pens, lots of 'em

Hi, all, and welcome to a gotta raise cash sale. The following is some personal thinning and recent in-the-wild finds. I’ve tried to keep prices to a minimum. First definite “I want it” gets it. Paypal is cool. All prices exclusive of postage. Please forgive any poor pics; Ansel Adams I ain’t! All questions are welcome, and thanks for looking.

Here we go, and remember… THIRD-TIERS NEED LOVE, TOO!!!

1) Esterbrook smaller J FP, red pearl celluloid, chromed clip/band/spade lever, black target jewels, decent barrel imprint, Estie 9556 nib. Draws/expels water. $20

2) Marxton FP, black & pearl celluloid, GP Marxton/Eclipse ball clip/band/lever, 14K Warranted nib looks like a M. Needs new sac. Few light teethmarks on end. Nice pen. $30

3) Tiffiny Pen (Cleveland) FP, red/orange celluloid, black endcaps, GP tabbed lever/ring, smooth feed, 14K Warranted nib looks like a M. Odd one! $25

4) Ingersoll flat-top, green striated celluloid, GP ball clip/band, crisp cap imprint, 14K, black endcap, large 14K Ingersoll nib with light flex looks like a M. Tiwst-filler that needs some TLC (big surprise, right?). There are threads right above the button, but have never seen one of these with a blind cap. ?? $30

5) Parker 45 FP, red barrel, lustraloy cap, GP clip and dished tassie, GP semi-hooded Parker M nib. With converter. Nice! $20

6) Wahl Bantam FP, green “barber pole” celluloid, GP clip (brasssing)/band, unmarked Wahl #0 nib that looks GP, not 14K. Perhaps white gold? Bulb-filler that needs new bulb. $25

7) Sheaffer Snorkel FP, black radite, GP clip/ wide autograph band, white dot, crisp imprint, 14K Sheaffer 2-tone Triumph nib looks like a M. Snorkel extends/retracts, but needs some TLC. Nice classic. $26

8) Onward FP/MP combo, white/black-veined celluloid, GP clip/milled band/lever/cone, GP Durium nib looks like a M. Needs sac, pencil seems to work. Nice combo. $16

9) Swan FP, BCHR, English-made, nickel-plated clip, HR lever, crisp imprints, chasing little worn but visible, 14K Swan nib with a little flex. Needs sac. Nice! $40

10) Parker 51 pencil, black barrel, GF cap with converging lines, grey pearl jewel, GP clip, one ding on cap. Seems to be working. $16

11) Eversharp Doric desk pen, green pearl basketweave celluloid, black smooth tail (likely a replacement), GP decorated Deco band/lever, double-check medallion, large beautiful14K Eversharp Gold Seal flex nib. Draws/expels some water. Gorgeous pen, even with the black tail! $70 (nib alone worth that!)

12) Eclipse FP, chased GF ringtop, GP branded lever, GP ring, some light brassing at end, 14K Warranted nib looks like a M. Needs new sac. Nice! $30

13) Pioneer large flat-top FP, black & pearl celluloid, GP ball clip/band/lever with some brassing, GP Smoothline M nib. Needs sac. $35

14) Esterbrook larger J FP, blue pearl celluloid, chromed clip/band/spade lever, crisp imprint, black target jewels, Estie 2556 nib. Needs sac. $20

15) Sheaffer Jr. Balance FP, grey pearl and red radite, nickel-plated hunched ball clip/band/lever, crisp imprint, 14K Sheaffer 3-25 nib. Needs sac. Nice! $35

16) Eversharp/Parker 10,000 Word FP, black barrel with seldom-seen gold-tone metal cap, semi-hooded steel Eversharp M nib. In original box with cartridge. Looks like NOS. $25

17) Unbranded but very high-quality FP, jade green/white flecked celluloid, large flat-top, GP clip, triple GP bands at cap top, double at lip, GP tab lever, 14K Moore Life nib. Pretty! $45

18) Conklin FP, chased GF, GP lever/ring, very light brassing at bottom, 14K Conklin Toledo nib. Needs sac, One ding on cap. Nice one! $40

19) Black & White FP, BCHR, white celluloid endcaps, crisp imprint/chasing, GP clip/branded lever, 14K Warranted nib looks like a M and has a little flex. Needs sac. Nice example! $30

20) Sheaffer “5-30” FP, jade green radite, black endcaps with jade insert in top, GP ball clip/double bands/lever, crisp imprint, 14K Sheaffer 5-30 nib. Needs sac. Nice, and not often seen. $35

21) Diamond point FP, burgundy basketweave celluloid, GP clip/decorated band.lever, subtle personalization on barrel, clear visulated section, GP New Diamond Deluxe nib looks like a M. Draws/expels some water. Pretty! $25

22) Parker Deluxe Challenger FP, black/grey pearl celluloid, nickel-plated clip, triple bands, crisp imprint, 14K Parker nib looks like a M. Pushbutton filler needs some TLC. Nice! $45

23) Waterman 3V FP, grey quartz celluloid, nickel-plated clip/band/lever, crisp imprint, 14K Waterman Ideal nib. Needs sac. Sweet little pen. $35

24) Eversharp Skyline FP, black celluloid barrel/derby, GF cap, GP clip/derby ring/lever, 14K Eversharp nib looks like a M. Draws/expels some water. $25

25) WB Wilson (Newark, NJ) FP, black celluloid or possibly smooth BHR, GP ring and decorated wide band, crisp imprint, very subtle personalization, threaded section top, Warranted 14K nib looks like a medium and has a tiny bit of flex. Bulb-filler that needs new sac. Scarce brand and very well-made. $45

26) Parker Vacumatic FP, blue azure celluloid, GP clip/wide decorated band, black jewel, blue diamond looks intact, crisp imprint, 14K Parker Vac nib looks like a M. Plunger moves up/down freely, but needs some TLC. Sweet Vac! $50

27) Esterbrook “dollar” FP, green pearl celluloid, chromed 2-hole clip/band/spade lever, crisp imprint, Estie 1551 nib. Needs sac. $23

28) Eversharp Ventura FP, sage green barrel, GF cap, GP clip, 14K Eversharp nib looks like a medium. Aerometric style filler draws/expels water. $35

29) Imperial FP, BCHR, slip cap, super-crisp chasing, 14K GP nib looks like a M. Eyedropper filler. In original box with instructions. Looks like NOS. Nice! $30

30) Unmarked, but almost certainly a Stylochap French FP, black/green-flecked celluloid, nickel-plated Deco clip/double bands, clear visulated ink-view section, 18K nib looks like a medium. Bulb filler, needs new bulb. Gorgeous pen! $40

31) Moore Servo FP, black & pearl celluloid, GP ring/band/lever, 14K Moore (MPC) nib with bit of flex. Needs sac. Sweet. $30

32) Victorian combo dip pen/pencil, no name, looks to be nickel-plated brass. Pencil pulls out of one end, long hexagonal cap pulls off to reveal an almost certainly 14K super-flex nib marked, near as I can tell, AW Barrett. Nice. $30

33) Diamond Point FP, red/orange celluloid, black bands at either end, GP ball clip.band/lever, fitted with a 14K Waterman semi-flex nib. Nice!!! $50

34) Parker VP FP, black barrel, lustraloy cap, steel clip, grey pearl jewels, 14K Parker VP nib. Filling unit is intact and working. Sweet pen! $85

35) Byers & Hayes FP, BCHR, nickel-plated clip/lever, super crisp chasing,14K B&H #2 nib looks like a M. Needs sac. $40

36) Sheaffer full-size flat-top FP, black & pearl radite, GP hunched ball clip/band (subtly engraved with name)/lever, crisp imprint, white dot on cap top, huge 14K Sheaffer Lifetime nib looks like a M. Needs sac. There’s one tiny, old, tight, and quite stabilized split from lip to band – about 1/8”, and you have to search for it. Superb pen! $65

37) Parker FP, all chased GF, ringtop, crisp chasing/imprint, few tiny dings, very subtle engraved initials, 14K Warranted nib looks like a M. Pushbutton filler, needs some TLC. Seldom-seen little guy! $70

38) Waterman 52 1/2V FP, red woodgrain HR, GP ring/band/lever, crisp imprints, 14K waterman Ideal nib looks like a M. Needs sac. Yet another sweetie! $45

39) Weidlich FP, BCHR, smooth taper cap (correct), crisp chasing, 14K Weidlich nib looks like a medium. Eyedropper filler in really nice shape. Scarce! $100
