This Waterman pen is so special, so unique, so discontinued. And what a shame that is, because did I mention it was special and unique? Yes, I believe I did. It's also diminutive; i.e., smaller than average. Dainty. LADY-like (get it?) Its main feature, of course, is that the pen fits into its very own matching slipcase, which closes via the hinged top with Waterman "W" logo debossed thereinto. Just imagine what a really fine actress could do with a prop like that. Really, you want to attract a little attention when you settle in at the cafe to scribble out a few snails? This'll do it. Or if you're not the show-offy type, just use it at home to bring some dainty graciousness into your life for a little while. Over tea, naturally. Lady Agathe uses the small-sized Waterman cartridges, a supply of which I will include to get you started. (They're available in blue and black from many online sources. I got mine from Pendemonium. Clever ladies know how to refill their empty cartridges with any ink they like best. Take a deep breath now and wait for it: $225.00, handsomely boxed and papered (the usual Waterman leaflet things) with several boxed and unboxed cartridges. Okay, the box has a tiny bit of ink on the presentation portion inside. This is why I haven't been pushing its gift potential but come to thinkn of it, if she's really your friend, a little ink stain shouldn't matter, should it?
