How to break the transpose habit

Normally.... Church folk have a habit of singing there favorite song in the same key... If you are a transpose Kind or Queen.... You never notice what key they are really singing in becuase you busy trying to transpose... To break the habit try this... 1st.....Use Gifty's Circle to practice and learn all 12 keys... Check out my program to help you break the habit.. Once you feel comfortable in all 12 keys... The very next time the key is changed.... Find it and play in it.... Easier said than done.... Do this.... Tape some maskin tape and tape up the transpose key so that you can't cheat... Yes! the church will look at you funny for a minute because they perhaps will think you are sink when you can't follow... but after the initial shock.... They will realize the real deal..... You just learning to play the right way.... Most important.... They will be happy when they go out and you are able to playt the Hammond organ which don't have a transpose key... Be blessed. REv.
