Once upon a time there was an island were all the feelings lived: Happiness and Zeal, Vanity, Sadness, Knowledge, and all the others, including the greatest feeling ~~ Love. One day it was announced to the feelings that the island was sinking, so all who had boats repaired them for departing the island.
Love wanted to preserve and wait until the last possible moment ensuring the others had left safely. When the island started sinking, Love felt it was time to leave and decided to ask for help. Richness was passing Love in a grand yacht and Love said, "Richness, can you take me with you?" Richness answered. "No, I can't. There is a lot of gold and silver in my boat and there is no place for you!" Love then decided to ask Vanity who was passing by in a beautiful vessel and Vanity quickly replied to Love's need for help, "You are all wet and might damage my boat." Sadness was close by and Love decided to ask him for a ride and Sadness quickly stated, "Love, I am so sad that I need to be by myself." Happiness and Zeal passed by Love also but they were so full of themselves they did not even hear Love when she called out to them. Suddenly there was a voice, "Come Love, I will take you." It was the voice of an Elder and Love felt so Blessed and overjoyed that he forgot to ask the Elder his name. When they arrive at dry land, the Elder went his own way.
Love, realizing how much he owed the Elder asked Knowledge, another Elder, who the Elder was that helped him. Knowledge answered, "It was Time." "Time," replied Love, "why did Time help me?" Knowledge smiled and with deep wisdom answered, "Because, only Time is capable of understanding how great Love is!"
