Funeral services for Naomi Lynn Verschueren were held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 27 at the Jal Church of God. Rev. Michael May officiated. Burial followed in Jal cemetery. Miss Verschueren, 16 months old, died Thursday, April 26 at her home in Jal. She was born Dec. 17, 1999 in Lubbock, Texas. Survivors include her parents, David and Greta Verschueren of Jal; one brother, Trent Verschueren of Jal; Maternal grandparents, Donald and Kathy Welch of Jal; paternal grandparents, Ron and Lori Verschueren of Jal; great-grandparents,Allegra Blea of Pecos, New Mexico, Raymond and Mary JOnes of Jal, and Kenneth and Juanita Harrison of Wink, Texas; and one aunt, Melissa Verschueren of San Jose, California. She was preceded in death by a sister, Dominique Renae Verschueren.
