Posted by Roxie McMahan Swain The tentative schedule is Friday: registration; outdoor concert by the Montgomery Sisters; street dance. Saturday: Registration; welcoming assembly; BBQ lunch under tents on Main Street; class pictures; parade; football game - Jal vs Hobbs JV; two street dances. Sunday: continental breakfast at high school cafeteria and good-byes. There won't be an organized golf tournament - if you want to play you can get your group together and contact Jal Country Club to set up tee times. Please continue to check the Jal Panther website for updates. Also posted at a later date will be a list of class representatives and their addresses so you can find your class rep and contact them in case they haven't been able to find you. A registration form that can be printed out and sent in with your money will be posted. Also an updated list of hotels, motels, and RV parks in the surrounding area will be posted. There were approximately 1600 people at the last reunion and we expect more than that this time because of all the new contacts we have made and lost people we have found through this website and emailing. Be sure and mark your 2005 calendars for September 2,3,4, for a stroll down memory lane. If you have any questions you can email me at rswain@valornet.com. Hope to see you there, Roxie McMahan Swain '67

This is to let everyone know that we are planning another big all school reunion next year on Labor Day weekend. The dates are September 2,3,4, 2005. This will include classes from 1936 through 2005. If you were at the 2000 reunion you know how much fun it was, and if you weren't, you missed a great time and you need to be sure and attend this one. The registration fee is $35 per person or $70 per couple. The registration fee includes a BBQ lunch Saturday at noon, 2 street dances on Saturday night (one Golden Oldies and one for the younger crowd), a continental breakfast Sunday morning and a souvenir student directory with over 3,500 names and addresses of former students, teachers and school staff. The directory will also include some facts, figures, and trivia about Jal and Jal schools through the years. An added bonus will be a concert on Friday night, staged by the Montgomery Sisters, all former students of JHS.
