Posted by Karon Dunn Moffett Some of you will remember her for her snow cone stand down on Ave B in Jal. Does anyone remember the pickle juice snow cones? Others may remember the wonderful peanut brittle, divinity and fudge that she could make. She sewed for the public when we lived in Jal. She could crochet and knit just about anything that was requested. My Mother never met a stranger and I always said she could sell snow balls in Alaska. She was loved very much by her family and her friends, She will be greatly missed.

Pearl Dunn wife of the late Oliver Dunn pass away on July 5, 2003. All of her Children graduated from Jal High School. Doyle Dunn, Loretta Bond, Alton Dunn, Royce Dunn and Karon Moffett. She has 22 greatgrand children and 9 greatgreat grand children. Many of them also attended school in Jal.
