I was very saddened to hear of the passing of Ikey. I spent many wonderful hours at the drugstore, waiting on mom to "get off" from work. I remember Ikey behind the "prescription counter", while mom and the rest of the ladies took care of the fountain and the "front". I well remember when he invested in the "bow-making machine", making it so much easier to wrap the gifts. So many chili-deals, barbecue sandwiches, dip & squirts, toasted rolls, cherry cokes, and candy later.............Even though the drug store has been gone for a long time, we all will always remember him, his family and "Lewis Drug".
