The old bulgars that established Bulgaria in 681 A.D according to Procopius of Caesaria were previously called Cimmerians.
Their adobes were above the Black Sea.
There is a plenty of stone reliefs of proto-bulgaian writhings using greek alphabeth and none of those words are turkish or mongolian.
Their language is sprinkled with sumerian and persian words.
The are ugrian peole mixed with simmerians.
Also vyzantine mozaics gives out their race - white.
Tatars and mongols as well turks came to Europe later - much later just like your serbian fathers who kicked out 500,000 bulgarians from FIROM after 1913 - 1945.
Yeah... that present day macedonians are of serbo-slav descent is undisputed,just like the fact that present day bulgarians are not mongol looking like you serbs try to imply.
Also Bulgaria is neither 100% slav nor bulgar nor ostro-goth or thracian,but a mixture of those 4 nationalities.
