United Bulgarian Community!

Historically, three different groups of Bulgarians are known; the Kuban Bulgarians, the Volga Bulgarians and the Balkan Bulgarians. Once united nation those peoples are now spread in many regions in Euro-Asia with highest concentration in Balkans(Danube Bulgarians) and in Volga-Kama region of Russian Federation(Volga Bulgaria). By number and regional groups they are as follow:

Danube or Balkan Bulgarians:

1. Bulgarians (Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, Ukraine, Moldova,..) - 8.5 mill.2. Macedonians (Rep. Macedonia, Albania, Greece,..) - 1.5 mill.

Volga Bulgarians:

1. Kazan Bulgarians , (Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, Chuvashia, Uzbecistan,..) - 6.5 mill.2. Bashkir, (Bashkortostan, Chelybinsk,...) - 1.345 mill.3. Chuvash (Chuvashia, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan...) - 1.77 mill.4. Marian (Mari-El, Bashkortostan,..) - 0.65 mill.

Kuban Bulgarians:

(Balkar and Cimmerian Bulgarians ) - 0.2 mill.
