In the Netherlands the spouse of the monarch officially is HRH prince(ss) of the Netherlands but a woman is styled by tradition as HM the Queen. I hope that will change by the time Catharina-Amalia becomes queen so that a consented spouse of a Royal takes the equal style and rank of the Royal.
I cannot remember ever reading what the title of a future husband the Duchess of Brabant will have after she succeeds her father.
In Luxembourg Felix was Prince of Luxembourg.
It could very well be that in 20 odd years the current sentiments on this subject have evolved and all the male husbands of reigning monarchs become King-consort/ Grand Duke-consort. I at least hope so. As i see it as a snub for all those competent women who reign when their husband cannot share in their rank but the wives of their fathers/sons can.
