What puzzles me however is how a law from the 1800's (or thereabout) when travelling was much more complicated, can still be uphold in these days?
Looking at other Monarchies it seems Denmark is the only one always wanting to have a Regent in case the Monarch is out of the country.
Bit out-dated methinks, but well, if the Danes are happy with this arrangement
A temporary solution might be to let Princess Elisabeth be Regent for a day....
