This photo was taken at a war memorial just before they left St. John's, Newfoundland for Toronto. Photo: Canadian Press/Ryan Remiorz A 7 year-old boy, whose father was killed in Afghanistan in 2007, reached up to touch the Prince of Wales' medals. He gave the Prince a pin and explained that he couldn't give him the medal he was wearing "it was my Dad's--it's real gold".
