Carlo, your words about King Umberto II touched me very much. You write with so much respect, affection and reference. I must confess, my perception of the Italian monarchy and Royal Family was - until today - formed by Prince Vittorio Emanuele 
, his wife and son. But your post encourages me to learn more about the last King of Italy. Thank you for helping to correct my prejudice.
