Yes, that is what the guide told. Despite this, it ill be a very costly affair. The Reichstag was nice. Also tried to recreate it as best as possible from the outside. But in front of it you see the hypermodern Bundeskanzlei (office of Angela Merkel), the glass-and-steel creation of the Bundestag (Lower House of Parliament) and the beautiful Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) close. But it is hard to imagine the Emperor and Empress arrive in carriages in front of the Reichstag. That is why I doubt if recreations have sense.
Schloss Charlottenburg was beautiful from the outside anyway. It is only when you are inside, make a guided tour, that you see it were attempts to recreate the original situation.
The chapel, the Porcellain Hall and some salons were really nice though.
