I am kinda glad all of my ancestors of British stock escaped that barbaric time in England (and the nearby countries to the north and west) and moved to America after reading that article you posted, Janet! (Of course, my direct ancestor and her daughter did escape harmless from the 1692 Salem witch-hunt trials in Massachusetts and moved to New York State; they were both acquitted)

Seems to me the death of Queen Anne was senseless because Henry himself was at fault here in his inability to get a male heir. (And the fact the mortality of children was high back then)
