Here are the tombs of T.M. the late King Vittorio Emanuele III in Alexandria - Egypt and the one of his late wife H.M. Queen Elena of Italy in Montpellier - France. She received more honours by the French authorities, whom also named after her a street near the cemetery (Avenue Reine Helene d'Italie), than from her former sujects. In the photo taken in Alexandria of Egypt, can seen H.M. King Umberto II visiting his father's tomb in St. Catherine church, Alexandria. The photo at the bottom shows Queen Elena's very modest tomb in Montpellier, which I went to see. There is only her name, Elena, surrounded by the Savoy lover's knots, no titles or other honours.
